Commissioner Jay moved to amend the agenda to add the following items: Item #16 - Resolution R-24-7-406 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Local Agency Project Agreement with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) for the development and construction of the Powell High School Greenway, including a new pedestrian bridge over Beaver Creek and approximately ½ mile of new greenway; Item #24 – Resolution R-24-7-801 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Grant Contract with the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency for the provision of public assistance pursuant to Presidential Disaster Declaration Number FEMA-4742-DR-TN for severe storms, straight-line winds and tornado on the date of August 7, 2023 in an amount not to exceed $588,576.57 with a local match of $82,397.01; and Resolution R-24-7-905 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving Amendment One to a Grant Contract with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for the operation of the Knox Recovery Court and Knox County Veterans Treatment Court, which amendment provides for an increase to the maximum liability of the state in the amount of $13,750.00 (no local match required).
