Commissioner Jay moved to amend the agenda defer the following items to the June 2025 meeting: Item #4 - Resolution R-25-5-204 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving an Online Subscription Agreement with The DBQ Project for a license to access DBQ’s proprietary online educational Social Studies materials at a cost of $71,231.25 for the term of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; Item #11 - Resolution R-25-5-211 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a Memorandum of Understanding with the Morgan Wallen Foundation for receipt of grant funding in the amount of $1,200,000.00 for Gibbs High School; Item #23 - Presentation: Animal Control (City/County) Services - Executive Director Janet Testerman; and Item #36 - Resolution R-25-5-903 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, urging the Tennessee General Assembly and Governor to enact legislation allowing eligible voters in utility districts to elect utility board members.
