Motion

Mr. Gerald Green, Executive Director, Metropolitan Planning Commission, was present and spoke on the matter. Mr. Arthur Seymour, Attorney representing Healy Homes, was present and spoke on behalf of the request. Commissioner Wright asked if there was any opposition to the request. There was no response. Commissioner Anders moved to approve 5-C-16-RZ - Request of Healy Homes for rezoning from A (Agricultural) to PR (Planned Residential) at a density up to 2.7 dwelling units per acre as per Metropolitan Planning Commission’s Recommendation: Recommend the Knox County Commission approve PR (Planned Residential) zoning at a density up to 2.7 dwelling units per acre. Property located northwest side of N Campbell Station Road, northeast of El Rancho Trail. COMMISSION DISTRICT 6. Commissioner Ownby seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners McKenzie, Smith, Ownby, Schoonmaker, Anders, Busler, Wright, Brown, Thomas and Brantley voted aye. The motion carried 10-0-0-1.
