In the past year, we have made some good policy changes that will hopefully prevent many future occurrences of confusion or unfairness. With regret, I must resign from this committee effective January 1, 2022. I have relocated my family outside of the 4th District of Bradley County and feel that representation on this committee should come from someone continuing to live in the district. My children are still involved in 4th District schools and athletics and I never like to leave a role or position without a solid plan of continuance. I very much endorse Bartlee Norton to succeed me in this role. He and I have worked closely over the years through Bradley Allstars and have coached alongside one another as we raise our children in the 4th District. He is caring and capable. Again, thank you for this opportunity to work with something I love and believe in. County rec athletics matters in this community and I hope to continue to see it restored to what it once was.
